Disney Princesses

Logan and Peyton are sisters that have birthdays close together. Their mom (Melissa) asked me to put together several items for each girl. Logan's 5th birthday is going to be a Disney Princess Party. Melissa wanted a banner and a couple of centerpieces that could be used at Logan's party and the next at Peyton and Logan's combined party.

I started by making 15 Princess invitations. Logan wanted Sleeping Beauty on the front.

Princess Logan has a birthday banner with all her favorite princesses! Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, and Belle. The banner is in two pieces so that after the party Princess Logan can hang her name on the wall in her room if she wants.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Josiah is turning one and his mom asked me to make some decorations for his party. She wanted six centerpieces, a big personalized birthday banner, and a highchair banner. Josiah's mom said he only liked Mickey Mouse and to use the traditional colors. She gave me free range to create!!!

Since I had already made a Mickey Mouse banner and four centerpieces recently I wanted to design something new.

I decided to make two different types of centerpieces. I made two with glass jars. I had a lot fun putting together these centerpieces. Then I made four centerpieces out of red sand buckets so after the party Josiah's mom can take them apart and he has sand buckets to play with this summer.  Each centerpiece is double sided so they can be displayed anywhere!

Invitations, Invitations, and more invitations

I have only completed five sets of invitations but I can say they are by far my favorite thing to design. It's lots of fun to design and create an unique invitation for a special event. The first set of invitations I ever made were for my sister and brother-in-law's wedding shower. I had to make 36!! That was a lot for my first set but I made it through.

My second set of invitations were for my good friend's baby shower. We knew Lindsey and Spencer were having a girl!

Pretty Pink Cupcake Centerpieces

Makayla is turning one and her mom (Alison) asked me to make two SIMPLE centerpieces for the party. The party will be outside at a park and she didn't have a theme for the party. Alison sent me a copy of the invitation so I used the color pink and cupcake from the invitation and the yellow from her outfit to put together the two simple but cute centerpieces.
